Tour Plan
Pick up from the Airport/Hotel in Arusha and Drive to Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with an early breakfast, followed by a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. You'll embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes and the majestic baobab trees that dot its terrain. The park features nine distinct vegetation zones, offering a unique and varied backdrop for wildlife viewing. The Tarangire River attracts a wealth of wildlife, including lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and a thriving population of elephants. During your lunch break, enjoy a picnic in a scenic area with breathtaking views of the river and wildlife. If you're lucky, you might even witness a hunt unfolding before your eyes. Afterward, continue your exploration with an afternoon game drive as you make your way to your accommodation.

Transfer and Explore Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its relatively small size, the park is celebrated for its stunning scenery, including lush acacia forests and giant fig trees. Lake Manyara is home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and impalas. Keep an eye out for the park's rare and famous tree-climbing lions, as well as the flamingos that often grace the lakeshore.

Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Following an early breakfast, you'll set out for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Enjoy Game Drives in Serengeti National Park for 2 Days
These two days are dedicated to exploring the Serengeti's vast landscapes through exhilarating game drives. The park is a haven for big cats and other predators, so be on the lookout for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. In addition to its larger inhabitants, the Serengeti is home to smaller animals such as mongooses, foxes, honey badgers, jackals, baboons, and rock hyraxes. Birdwatchers will also be delighted by the park's more than 500 bird species.

Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day with an early morning game drive, witnessing one of the most beautiful sunrises you’ll ever experience. After the drive, return to the lodge for a well-deserved brunch before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Known as the "8th Wonder of the Natural World," Ngorongoro is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. The area is also famous for its massive elephants, some of which boast the largest tusks in the world.

Explore Ngorongoro and Transfer to Lake Eyasi
The day begins early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. The crater's diverse ecosystem includes a river, several swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, a forest, and expansive open plains. After lunch, enjoy a short game drive before ascending the crater and heading towards Lake Eyasi. Here, you’ll prepare for a unique cultural experience the following day.

Cultural Encounter with the Hadza Tribe and Return to Arusha
On this day, rise before dawn to meet the Hadza tribe, one of Africa's last remaining nomadic communities. You’ll have the rare opportunity to join the tribe's men on a hunting expedition or accompany the women as they gather fruits. After this immersive experience, visit Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow salt lake nestled in the Great Rift Valley. Following your time at the lake, you'll return to Arusha, where your safari adventure concludes.

Can I reschedule or cancel this trip?
- Rescheduling: You can reschedule this trip as a private tour to any date within 12 months at no additional cost.
- Booking Deposit: A 30% deposit of the total tour price is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days before the tour departure date. Bookings not secured with the appropriate deposit will be released.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Cancel between 90 and 45 days before departure: 20% penalty of the tour price.
- Cancel within 45 days of departure or no show: 100% penalty of the tour price.
Availability and Accommodations
- Reservations: Accommodation and activity availability is not guaranteed until reservations are confirmed with the final itinerary and deposit payment. If any quoted accommodations are unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute them with suitable alternatives, which may affect the final quoted price.
Insurance
- Requirement: All clients must have medical and travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Rates
- Subject to Change: Tour rates are subject to change without notice. We will make every effort to maintain rates, but changes in government taxes or operating conditions may be passed on to clients.
Permit Cancellation Policy
Uganda Gorilla Permit Cancellation Policy
- Guarantee: A Gorilla Permit is guaranteed only upon receipt of the deposit ($800 per person per trek) as it must be paid immediately to the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Cancellation Fees
- More than 90 days before tracking: 25% cancellation fee.
- 89 to 46 days before tracking: 50% cancellation fee.
- 45 to 9 days before tracking: 75% cancellation fee.
- 8 to 0 days before tracking: 100% cancellation fee.
Important Information
- Age Requirement: The minimum age for gorilla tracking is 15 years.
- Health: Visitors with flu or other airborne diseases will not be allowed into the rainforest jungle to see the gorillas.
- Safety Protocols: Masks must be worn at all times, and a distance of 10 meters must be maintained between you and the gorillas.
