4 Day Lake Mburo Wildlife, Boat and Cultural Safari
4 Day Lake Mburo Wildlife, Boat and Cultural Safari
Overview
Our 4 Day Lake Mburo Wildlife, Boat and Cultural Safari offers a perfect blend of nature and cultural experiences, starting and ending in Kampala. For those staying in Mbarara, our guide can meet you there to begin the same itinerary. Lake Mburo National Park has seen remarkable recovery from the wildlife-human conflicts of the 1970s and ’80s, which led to the extinction of key species like lions. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Uganda Wildlife Authority, animals such as lions and giraffes have been successfully reintroduced. This safari is ideal for travelers who wish to combine wildlife viewing, boat excursions, and cultural visits.
