Explore the Nkuringo Sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Nkuringo, located in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, is renowned for its breathtaking views and challenging yet rewarding treks. This sector is home to three habituated gorilla families: Nkuringo, Bushaho and Christmas, which are all available for trekking.

Due to its high altitude, trekking in Nkuringo is physically demanding, making it ideal for adventurous and energetic travelers. In addition to gorilla trekking, visitors are treated to stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes, stretching across Uganda and Rwanda, offering great inspiration for further exploration of the region.
