Sport Fishing on Lake Victoria: A Unique Adventure from Entebbe

Sport fishing on Lake Victoria is an exciting and memorable experience for anyone visiting Entebbe. This vast, beautiful lake offers a unique opportunity to catch one of the world’s largest freshwater fish, the Nile Perch. Trek Africa Gorillas has been offering unforgettable fishing excursions for over 10 years, with both half- and full-day trips centered around “catch and release” fishing for Nile Perch. Our experienced skippers are not only skilled but also speak fluent English, ensuring you have an enjoyable, informative experience.

Fishing on Lake Victoria is a year-round activity, with the exception of the full moon and the April/May rainy season. The Nile Perch typically weighs between 5–25 kg, though larger fish are occasionally caught. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, our team will guide you to the best spots and use the most effective methods to make your fishing trip successful.
