Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our friendly Excursia Adventures driver will be waiting to welcome you. You’ll be transferred to a comfortable hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay (BB) where you can rest and prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park. En route, we pass through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering a chance to spot wildlife along the way.

Once inside the Serengeti, you’ll be captivated by the vast golden plains teeming with zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch at Naabai Kopje, a rocky outcrop where you might spot the park’s famous pink-headed lizards. The afternoon is dedicated to a thrilling game drive, giving you the opportunity to encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, and more.

After a day of adventure, we head to our selected accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti. This is the best time to spot predators like lions and leopards on the hunt. Enjoy the morning spectacle of the African savannah as birds chirp and the golden light transforms the landscape.

After breakfast, we continue our game drive before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay near the crater rim.

Day 3: Exploring Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, we descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most wildlife-rich places on Earth. Here, you have a high chance of spotting all members of the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo.

We’ll stop for a picnic lunch by a scenic lake, home to hippos and a variety of water birds, including flamingos. The crater’s ecosystem also supports wildebeest, zebras, hyenas, and countless other species.

After an exciting game drive, we begin our journey back to Arusha, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.

Day of Departure: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After a restful night in Arusha, we’ll arrange your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
