Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi and meet our representative at the arrival hall. After collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel. (Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM). In the afternoon, take a visit to the famous Giraffe Centre to interact with these majestic animals.
Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (2+ hours drive)
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha and arrive by late morning. Enjoy lunch, followed by an optional boat ride or a visit to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. Crescent Island is a picturesque, water-surrounded peninsula that’s home to a variety of wildlife including wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and more. The island’s birdlife is equally captivating, with pelicans, cormorants, and fish eagles frequenting the shores.
Take a walk along the ridge to enjoy panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes before heading back for dinner and an overnight stay in Naivasha.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru (2+ hours drive)
Today, we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingos and rich wildlife. Expect to see buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and antelope, as well as the park’s famous flamingo flocks. It’s also home to both black and white rhinos, along with occasional sightings of leopards lounging in the fever trees. End the day with dinner at a lodge overlooking the lake.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara (5+ hours drive)
After breakfast, head to the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. Known for its rich wildlife, Masai Mara is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem and is famous for the Great Migration and its Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo). Alternatively, enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Mara. Keep an eye out for the Big Cats, elephants, and other wildlife. The region is especially famous for its wildebeest migration, a spectacular natural event that draws visitors from all over the world. Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s rich wildlife and stunning landscapes, then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Exploring Serengeti National Park
The vast Serengeti Plains are the heart of Africa, teeming with wildlife and providing unparalleled opportunities for game viewing. This morning, head out early for a game drive to spot the rich variety of animals that roam these endless plains. In the afternoon, head back for a leisurely break during the hottest part of the day, enjoying a delicious meal and some rest before embarking on another game drive. Depending on the wildlife movements, your game drive may last all day, allowing for even more sightings. Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax.
