Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Your journey begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where an Excursia Adventures driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. Relax and prepare for an exciting safari ahead.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds. The park is also home to lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, buffaloes, and playful baboons. Bird lovers will appreciate the diverse birdlife found here.

After an eventful game drive, we continue to a lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

We start the day early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. Due to its enclosed ecosystem, the crater offers exceptional game viewing, and you may spot all members of the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions, and leopards.

Other wildlife commonly seen include zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, and a variety of bird species such as geese, storks, vultures, and flamingos near the Soda Lake.

After an exhilarating game drive and picnic lunch in the crater, we make our way back to Arusha, marking the end of an incredible safari experience.

Departure: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

On your departure day, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
