Arrival and Preparation: Day 0 at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Your journey begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where an Trek Africa Gorillas driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. Relax and prepare for an exciting safari ahead.

Day 1: Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast savannahs, ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. The park also hosts lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, buffaloes and playful baboons. Bird lovers will enjoy spotting the diverse birdlife here.

After an eventful game drive, continue to a lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha

Begin the day early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. This enclosed ecosystem offers exceptional game viewing opportunities, with the chance to see all members of the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards.

Other wildlife often spotted include zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas and a variety of bird species such as geese, storks, vultures and flamingos near the Soda Lake.

After an exhilarating game drive and picnic lunch in the crater, you will make your way back to Arusha, concluding your incredible safari experience.

Departure: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

On your departure day, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
