7-Day Kilimanjaro Hiking Adventure via the Umbwe Route
February 4, 20259-Day Kilimanjaro Climb via the Lemosho Route
The Lemosho Route is one of our top picks for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro due to its stunning scenery, lower traffic, and excellent summit success rate. Starting from the west, the journey begins with a drive from Moshi to the Londorossi Gate. The trek offers diverse landscapes, starting in lush rainforests and ending with views of glaciers and volcanic ridges. We recommend a minimum of 8 days for better acclimatization, but adding an extra day for a Crater Camp stay increases your chances of reaching the summit.
