  The permit for gorilla trekking costs $800 per person in Bwindi or Mgahinga for foreign non-residents, with discounts for East African residents and citizens. The Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi costs $1500 per person, allowing you to spend 4 hours with semi-habituated gorillas.
• Rwanda:
  In Rwanda, a permit costs $1500 per person for foreign non-residents. Rwanda offers one of the best trekking experiences, with 12 habituated gorilla families in Volcanoes National Park.
• DR Congo:
  The price of a permit in Virunga is $400 per person during the high season (mid-December to mid-March and June to October), and $200 per person during the low season. In Kahuzi Beiga, permits cost $400 for foreign non-residents.
