Best Time for Chimpanzee Trekking

Accessing Kibale National Park

By Road: Kibale is about 4-5 hours’ drive from Entebbe/Kampala to Fort Portal. Alternatively, you can reach the park via the Kampala-Mbarara-Kasese highway, which will take about 1-2 hours from Kasese.

By Air: You can fly from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield to Kasese Airstrip. From here, it’s a short transfer to Kibale Forest.
