Trek Africa Expeditions is one of the few registered tour operators in Uganda with access to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) gorilla permit database. This means we can check the availability of permits for both Bwindi and Mgahinga at any time—day or night.

Once your payment is processed, we’ll send one of our team members to the UWA headquarters in Kampala to finalize your booking. They’ll obtain the official booking ID and receipt, which we’ll send you for your records. Once your gorilla permits are printed, we’ll safely collect them and keep them at our office until your trip. On the day of your trek, your guide will hand over the permit for you to present at the park entrance.
