When is the Best Time to Trek Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park?

Bwindi is a tropical rainforest, so it experiences rainfall throughout the year. However, the best time for gorilla trekking is during the drier months of January, February, June, July, August, and early September. By Road:

Bwindi is accessible by a scenic road trip that takes about 9-10 hours from Kampala or Entebbe. By Air:

Alternatively, you can fly into Kigali in Rwanda and drive through the Cyanika or Katuna border to reach Bwindi. The journey takes 4-5 hours, including immigration time.
