Excursia Adventures is one of the few registered tour operators with direct access to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) permit system. This allows us to check, hold, and secure gorilla permits on your behalf, ensuring you have the most up-to-date availability info, even during busy periods.

Once payment is made, we’ll personally visit the UWA office in Kampala to confirm your permit and provide you with a booking ID and receipt. These documents will be scanned and sent to you for your records. As soon as the permits are issued, we’ll safely store them in our office until your trek begins. You’ll receive your permit card on the day of your trek, which your guide will use to check you in at the park.
