1. Accessibility

• Nkuringo: To reach Nkuringo by road, you’ll take a turnoff at Muko along the Kabale-Kisoro Highway, which can be a longer journey.
• Ruhija: Ruhija is easier to access from the Kabale-Kisoro road, and it’s generally closer to main roads, making the journey shorter.
  Both sectors are accessible by air via Kihihi Airstrip for Ruhija and Kisoro Airstrip for Nkuringo, with a drive time of about 1-2 hours from each airstrip.

2. Lodging Options

Both Nkuringo and Ruhija offer a variety of accommodations ranging from budget to luxury. However, Nkuringo is known for having more luxurious lodging options, with well-established lodges offering a higher standard of comfort.
